English Cottage is located in Ji-an County. It is nestled between the mountains at the mouth of the East Rift Valley. It is blessed with clear mountain views and a peaceful country atmosphere.

The area around English Cottage has many hiking trails and quiet country roads that are best enjoyed from the seat of a bicycle. We welcome guests who visit Hualien by bicycle, to stay and enjoy the scenic countryside views.

English Cottage is run by an English/Taiwanese couple. It provides the ideal opportunity to escape and truly relax.

English Cottage provides a separate guest living room for chatting, sipping tea and coffee, reading or just relaxing. Together with an English garden to enjoy the mountain views and clean fresh country air, English Cottage truly is a wonderful place.

Guest rooms are decorated in a European style with a warm home-away-from-home feeling for your enjoyment and comfort.

English Cottage provides fresh coffee, tea and snacks in each room and use of bicycles as well as wi-fi Internet access. All rooms have cable TV. Guests can enjoy a traditional English breakfast of tea, coffee toast and accompaniments.
